Meet the Founder
My name is Audrey Tirrell and welcome to Freestyle Swimwear. As a former Division 1 swimmer, I understand the great challenges that come with being a female athlete in the sport of swimming. From my first-hand experience, the need for better training swimwear is a necessity.
Female swimmers are left with very limited options where most of the swimwear on the market is uncomfortable and does not fit the true needs of a female athlete. With my inner connection to the competitive swim community, I started Freestyle Swimwear to allow other athletes the opportunity to voice what they truly need in their swimwear.
After years of surveying thousands of female swimmers globally and incorporating their candid feedback, we have designed the most advanced training suits for women. As athletes, we built Freestyle Swimwear from the ground up, focusing on fit, style, and durability to empower women to feel stronger and more confident, both in and out of the pool.
What Makes Us Unique?
Each prototype undergoes rigorous testing through hours of intensive swim training, with continuous refinements made to ensure an optimal fit and performance. Before a design is finalized, months of research and surveys are conducted, allowing swimmers to voice their needs and preferences—directly shaping the final product. As the first hands-on competitive swimwear brand of its kind, Freestyle Swimwear ensures that female swimmers are an integral part of the design process, creating suits that truly meet their performance and comfort needs.
This is the first ever hands-on competitive swimwear brand where all female swimmers are a part of the journey.
